[YouTube-API] Can I use YouTube Direct to launch a Video submission contest from my commerical site?

I've been reading through http://support.google.com/youtube/bin/static.py?hl=en&guide=30071&topic=30085&page=guide.cs&answer=1100988 this but cannot see a link across to YouTube Direct.

Would I be breaking any guidelines by using YouTube Direct to do this?

Many thanks in advance for any pointers you can give me.
