Thanks for the help & links - I tried both of them (and the licence parameter too, just in case) but none worked, I'm still getting non-playable videos.
Thanks anyway,
 Ben

Hey Ben,
There are only two parameters that can give information about restirction / embbeding:
http://code.google.com/intl/de-DE/apis/youtube/2.0/developers_guide_protocol.html#formatsp
http://code.google.com/intl/de-DE/apis/youtube/2.0/developers_guide_protocol.html#restrictionsp
They could help you.

I've been trying to embed a playlist of music videos on my site, for
example:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/
videoseries?
list=AVGxdCwVVULXemb6Obyozf_nE6PPo8Fj4f&hl=en_UK&modestbranding=1"
frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="1"></iframe>
But a lot of the videos won't play - I get an error saying: "This
video contains content from UMG. Playback is restricted on certain
sites, watch on youtube.".
So I assume these videos just can't be embedded on external site - or
is there something I need to do to get permission from youtube? It's
not a problem if I can't - but what I'd really like to do is not have
them show up in the player at all. Is there a parameter I can pass so
it only returns videos that can be played?
Cheers,
Ben
