I just heard back from the engineering team as well, and they said
that yes, there was a known issue that was causing viewcounts on the
uploads feed to lag behind what's reported in the search feed for a
while. No views are being permanently "lost" or misattributed. As you
noticed, this is expected to resolve itself after some time has
passed, but we can't offer a specific guarantee that it won't
temporarily recur.
