finally found the problem.
It has nothing to do with communication or the SWFObject.
If you are using the latests version of the YouTube Player API (with
AS3), video's generated with AS2 will stop passing data to Javascript.
So you will not be able to use any of the above functions I mention
above.
Personally I think this is a mayor bug OR when it's familiar with the
developers it's NOT explained in a clear way.
If you still do not understand my point I suggest you take a look at
the YouTube API Player Demo (http://code.google.com/intl/nl-NL/apis/
youtube/youtube_player_demo.html). Default settings (which is the AS3
player) and open a video generated with AS2 (mqzjDrrZIdE). You will
notice that values like current time will reset to zero after about 5
seconds. I have tested this on multiple computers with the highest
version of Adobe Flash Player installed.
For the love of god make this clear to the people that use the YouTube
API Player!!
