[YouTube-API] IFrame API and Search

I am new to this so trying to ascertain if this can do something fairly simple:

Player

List of Videos to choose from

Search to change list and/or push variables into iframe

Essentially I want an iframe with a player and list to choose from, instead of specifying the video ID i want the list to opulate from a search term, either user defined or one I push into iframe.

Is this possible?

Any help appreciated
