[YouTube-API] How can I create a recent videos pod for a webpage?

Ok I've been reading over the Developer's Guide, and to be honest I'm a designer not a coder. I'm finding it difficult to work out how go about doing this, what kind of code is used.

If somebody could explain or provide instructions on how to make a pod for my website with the following information.

Latest video EMBED from a channel with description, number of views, likes/dislikes bar.

2nd Latest video THUMBNAIL with title, number of views, likes/dislikes bar.

3rd Latest video THUMBNAIL with title, number of views, likes/dislikes bar.

It would be laid out like this, but I think I should be able to do that fine with CSS myself once I've got the main elements generated.
