[YouTube-API] Re: Searching Youtube EDU

Is there any plan to add support for searching just youtube EDU via the api? I have a number of K-12 schools asking me about integrating YouTube into our app in a way that will work on their campuses, and YouTube Schools is a great solution, but for the lack of API search. Any thoughts?

Hello Corey,

Unfortunately, I don't think there is any common piece of metadata
associated with all YouTube EDU content that you could use to refine
your searches--at least not anything exposed via the YouTube API. I
can't say authoritatively, but it looks like content gets flagged as
"YouTube EDU" if the account that uploaded it has YouTube EDU
affiliation.
