[YouTube-API] Re: Playing live events in my own player

Hello Dimitri,

It should be possible to use the AS3 embedded player to play back
live events. I think the AS3 chromeless player works as well, or the
<iframe> embed when AS3 playback is chosen.

You can hide the controls or use the chromeless player and then
customize the UI around the playback area, but any authorized playback
of live events would have to be built on top of one of those official
players.
