I'm not certain if this is related specifically to the YouTube API or
not, but I have been seeing the same issue on linux.
I've only been able to replicate it on linux with the flash player - so
I'd assumed it was a display driver issue my end and not reported it.
Are you using the non-free Nvidea drivers?
I know that a lot of Googlers use a similar linux distribution, so if
it's just a flash issue then I assume it's been raised already.
