[YouTube-API] Youtube Data API GET Request Rate Limits

I've read most of the threads online, but the answers aren't really satisfactory.

Does anyone have a ballpark when Youtube will block my server from making API requests? Each request I'm making is legit traffic from a user searching on my site, and I have provided my developer key in the API requests.

So....how many requests per second could my server make? (Also I've got a DB search result cache in place as well to help keep the search traffic to a minimum.

Anyone have any insight?

Thanks,
Matt
