[YouTube-API] which api should i use for getting that one particular user has uploaded new video

i want to know that which api should i user for knowing that any particular user have uploaded new video, like i have a channel schoolofmusiconline i want to  know how many new videos have been uploaded at this channel so for this purpose which api should i use

i tried this

https://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/users/username/events?v=2
but this is not fetching any record. if anyone knows this please help me.
