Well it is weird but I found a way to correct this problem by saving in a variable the current quality of the video played, changing the quality to an other one available and then switching the video back to the quality saved at first. The issue thence doesn't trouble anymore except for the case there is only one quality available for the video (can't swap to another one and then come back)
