[YouTube-API] Re: Is youtube API counting views

What might help but likely only somewhat is to upload a new video with
UNPUBLISHED status. Those videos can only be played by people who
know the URL or the video ID. Then you monitor the views counter on
youtube.com - keeping in mind that it might take it several hours (or
maybe even a day or two) to get updated (anyone know how long?). At
least with UNPUBLISHED videos you end up with a bit more of a
controlled environment.
