[YouTube-API] Is it possible to batch retrieve Youtube video entries client side?

Same Origin Policy prevents me from requesting Youtube batch API (that
does not seem to provide any jsonp). Is there an alternative way to do
that (batch retrieval)?

In my current design, I am forced to use my servers as proxys.
