Check your YouTube channel settings for the specific video, particularly those in the Embedding options. All channel owners have the option to restrict views and disallow embedding on external sites. There's not much you can do about what options other channels may choose, though. I suppose, if the embedding is being done via the API there is probably a way to check the status of videos before generating the page? Hopefully someone more familiar with those options will suggest a specific solution. --
