[YouTube-API] VEVO channel feed consolidatind Total Views ??

Hi,

I am requesting the standard channel feed below based on most viewed channel:
http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/channelstandardfeeds/most_viewed?v=2

The first channel is VEVO with 13 million views. That is not right because #2 in the feed has over a billion views, so how is VEVO #1 ??

The only way VEVO could be number 1 in total upload views is if YT is adding ALL of their channel upload views together ex.
EminemVevo + LadyGagaVevo + JustinBeiberVevo etc.

If this is the case why would YT choose to show the main VEVO channel as the most viewed channel with views equating 13 million?

Why not add all the views together and reflect that number on the main VEVO channel since it is already being done in the feed and the YT reporting tool.

Compare the following:

Vevo channel (check total views)
http://www.youtube.com/vevo

YT reporting tool (based on most viewed channel)
http://www.youtube.com/channels?s=mv&gl=US&t=a&g=0

This is weird because when I am trying to pull the top 10 viewed channels then grab their YT name and lookup the profile stats I get inaccurate numbers.

How can I split apart the Vevo channels and rank them against the other top most viewed channels?

Thank you!
