Last I checked with the Players team, the AS3 chromeless player did
not support closed captions at all, so what you're seeing is not
surprising. Since there are no API methods for controlling closed
caption display or changing the language (other than the URL
parameters, which aren't dynamic) I'm not sure that they're a good fit
for the chromeless player.
I'll follow up with the team to see if there are any plans to add API
methods to control the display of closed captions.
