[twitter-dev] Backfill for user_stream?

I am using the User Streams API for a new application. It says to
backfill (http://dev.twitter.com/pages/
user_streams_suggestions#Backfill) you can use the REST API, however
from what I can see, you cannot do this.

For example: You can only get a users favorited tweets, not the users
tweets that have been favorited.

The 'count' parameter would be ideal for my application, but it seems
to be disabled.

Any ideas?
